“It was maybe a little too far,” Adam said, “I think in hindsight I look back on it and I go, ‘OK, maybe that wasn’t the best first impression to make again, the first second impression.’ I mean, I had fun up there, I had a good time, my dancers had fun and the band had fun.”
“I respect people and feel like people walked away from that feeling disrespected. I would never intend to disrespect anybody. So that was not my intention.”

American Idol Adam Lambert (right), who sings the movie’s theme “Time For Miracles” (also a bonus track on his debut CD For Your Entertainment, due out Nov. 23), confided that he isn’t living green at home “because I’m hardly ever home.” Indeed, Lambert will be traveling for promo appearances and is planning a concert tour. After performing his CD’s title track on the American Music Awards Nov. 22, he’ll appear on Good Morning America and Late Show with David Letterman. He doesn’t believe in the 2012 doomsday prophecy. “I don’t think the world is going to end. I think it’s a symbol of the end of one time and the beginning of another, a change of consciousness and the beginning of a new way of thinking.” For his part, he said, “ I’m just trying to be positive and spread love and happiness.”

It's just that capacity to take risks that he so admires in Michael Jackson, whose "This Is It" documentary hits theaters on October 28.
"[H]is music so groundbreaking because he really brought a lot of rock into [it]," Lambert, who grew up listening to MJ and watching his videos, told MTV News. "He had initially set himself up with this R&B presence and he brought so much rock into it and I think it was really groundbreaking how he fused all those different styles together in a pop format. I'm very inspired by that musically."

Shades of Luz has been out for a little over a month, but with quite a buzz building and comparisons already made to Brig's character and RZA from Wu-Tang Clan John has been thinking of the screen. Gorman won a screenplay competition in 2003. His "For the Love of Auntie" was the toast of the NY International Indie Film and Video Festival. Gorman also has some feature film acting credits under his belt, but wouldn't consider himself to play the part of Benny."I'm not going to pull a Stallone. God bless him, but I want to find somebody read-made and perfect for the part. I have a few ideas. Adam Lambert actually would be a good Benny. His singing style is all over the place like Benny's mind. You got to give props to a guy who can put out songs that bridge the gap between Depeche Mode and Queen."At the moment, Gorman is also considering Jason Swartzman. "I think he's great in 'Bored to Death'. He already has that writer sensibility since he is playing the young Jonathan Ames."John has already begun transposing the novel into script form. Adam Lambert single still listed TBD on the FMQB radio industry website.
RockStar Weekly reported that the FMQB had originally reported that the first Adam Lambert single was to be released on October 12 along with Kris Allen's second track "Live Like We're Dying" (Jive/JLG), but the radio insdustry website has moved the still untitled Lambert track into the TBD(to be determined) column with an unknown October release date. The FMQB supplies the most accurate and up to date radio information available.
The internet Movie DataBase has now listed the 2012 soundtrack listing, which also includes songs from Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, The Pearls and rockers Filter,and among others, Adam Lambert's Time For Miracles is listed.

Then came Adam Lambert full of energy. I loved him. He was very humble. A fan asked me to smell his hair (I’m not kidding), but his trademark locks were under a hat. He did have a flawless manicure with black polish. We chatted about the show. He said he didn’t think he would get as far as he did because he thought people would think he was too weird. I brought up his celebrity nickname “Glambert”- and he said he liked it and thinks it’s very appropriate. He joked (or maybe not) that he should call his next album “Glambert.” I told him he should have his own Eyeliner product called “Glambert”– and he said it’s already being talked about! I always wondered how he gets that liner to stay put. He told me his secret. You have to put powder on top of it to make it stick. I’ll try it and let you know!
We talked about being on tour. He said , “I am physically kind of worn out but every time I get on stage I feel like I am plugging in, like I am recharging the battery. The energy coming at me is amazing, the audience is like – every audience we have has been super supportive, there are signs out in the audience, there are bras being thrown at me on stage which is hilarious.” I asked if he throws the bras back. … “yeah, if there is something on the stage you have to acknowledge it. Sometimes it gets overwhelming. There’s litter all over the stage so I have to pick and choose what I play with. There’s been a whip, handcuffs.” I told him that’s dangerous and to be careful! Adam said he has family on Long Island and has visited before. He remembers going to a deli and trying a tongue sandwich that he didn’t like… but says “but now I will remember Long Island as Nassau Coliseum, party on, dope night, everybody had a good time”.
As far as his new album, expect it in November and a single in October. Here’s how he described it. “Its going to be a blend of the great things about 70s and 80s rock music and pop music mixed with today’s current dance floor type sounds, some of the stuff you can shake your butt to, feel sexy, empowered, most of message on songs are positive and uplifting, then you’ll have your emotional ballad in there too to feel something, there’s going to be some funky stuff on there. It’s going to really run the gamut on everything. ”
He pinky sweared me that he would come back to perform after his album drops. Before he gave me a big hug and kiss goodbye, I asked him Kenny Cholosky’s question. Kenny wanted to know if Michael Jackson influenced Adam. Here you go, Kenny.
“He was definitely one of the big influences. Yeah, as a kid that was one of the people–him and Madonna were like the two pop stars that I was like wow, the king and queen you know. His music was so incredible…..I was obsessed with it (Thriller video) He just took it there to that fantasy place and I’m inspired by people like that.”

Adam stayed tight-lipped about any possible song names, lyrics or the album title — “Nope, can’t tell you yet — it’s all a surprise,” he says — but stressed that assembling the album quickly is only adding to its intensity.

Adam Lambert on '20/20' Interview: American Idol and Rolling Stone
Adam Lambert, runner up of American Idol says that he feels relieved after coming out by saying “a weight has been lifted off his shoulders”.
The announcement that Adam Lambert came officially in the new issue of Rolling Stone that he is in fact gay and a new interview with 20/20 reported Chris Connelly was able to prise more information out of Adam.
Lambert says in the interview that “I am gay and I’m very comfortable with it. I have been for a long time. I think it’s funny when people are like ‘Oh, he’s been hiding it!’”.
Chris Connelly also asks the question “Are you bi-curious?” to which Adam replies “I wouldn’t ever give myself a label bi-sexual but bi-curious, Yeah”

LOS ANGELES — "American Idol" finalists Kris Allen and Adam Lambert will be
opening up for a few music legends.
Lionel Richie, Carlos Santana, Cyndi Lauper, Queen Latifah, Black Eyed Peas and Keith Urban are among the artists scheduled to perform on Wednesday's finale before either Allen or Lambert is crowned the eight season champion
Previous "Idol" winners David Cook and Carrie Underwood will also croon on the two-night finale. Underwood will perform on Tuesday's episode, which will feature Lambert, a 27-year-old theater actor from San Diego, and Allen, a 23-year-old college student from Conway, Ark., duking it out for a record contract and the title of "American Idol."

Before Lambert ever came face to face with the 'Idol' judges, he did a six-month tour with the musical 'Wicked' and even started a alternative rock band called The Citizen Vein. "He almost had a record deal, but thank God it didn't work out. He wouldn't have gotten Idol," his friend Shane Scheel said.
When Lambert finally decided to audition for 'Idol,' his friends didn't think he had a shot. "When he decided to try out, we teased him that he should keep his day job -- being in 'Wicked,' getting paid $2,500 a week ain't so bad," Scheel said.
And who gets most of the credit for Lambert's success? His mother. "She is the most supportive woman. She's allowed him to flourish and be the person he was meant to be. His parents didn't force him into sports, but let him follow this creative desire to dress in costumes and sing his heart out," Isaacson said.
Although Lambert is widely assumed to be gay, he won't say much more than, "I know who I am. I'm an honest guy, and I'm just going to keep singing," he told EW.

Adam Lambert Wanna Whole Lotta Love Video (Led Zeppelin) during Top 4 Rock Week
The judges, once again, were absolutely thrilled with the performance. Randy shouted, "This is the Adam that I love, dude. You're a rock star. That was hot!" Kara was even more enthusiastic, adding, "You're more than a rock star. You're a rock god." She added that Adam was best suited to a style that combines '70s rock and a Nine Inch Nails sound. For her part, Paula continued to be Adam's most vocal supporter on the judging table. She gushed, "You're a whole lotta perfect." And Simon? He quickly deadpanned, "I thought the performance was a little understated." But then the Brit picked up with his real critique, "This could have been an absolute disaster. It was actually one of my favorite performances that you've ever done. The problem is that no one can top that now."
